Neil Kozuma, Compliance Officer
My goals are to provide the same opportunities for everyone; to provide resources to those who need assistance; and to help others learn how to achieve their dreams. As a team member of Foothill Community Health Center, my goals are realized through our work to provide high-quality physical and mental wellness to everyone, regardless of one’s socio-economic position, ethnicity, gender, or immigration status. I am excited to share in the achievements of our school-based clinics; we are changing the behavioral paradigm of the next generation by teaching them to think beyond their neighborhoods and to break out of generational barriers. I am an Alumnus of the University of San Francisco (BS, MPA) and Lincoln Law School of Sacramento (JD). My experiences involve public policy, finance, social justice, civil liberties, education, and healthcare. I serve on the Boards of the San Jose JACL; APIJC; Contemporary Asian Theatre Scene; and the San Jose Parks Foundation.
Growing up in the city of Compton gave me life lessons and an endearing compassion for families without essential resources. As a team member of the Foothill Community Health Center, our work in East San Jose is making a difference in the lives of low-income families, our neighbors without health insurance, and children without positive mentors. Our Outreach team is embedded into the daily lives of our community through health education workshops, health screenings, public health insurance enrollment assistance, and collaborating with our community partners to enhance healthcare access for the underserved population. I am an Alumnus of the University of California, Riverside (BA in Political Science) and San Jose State University (Master of Public Health).  I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and daughter (Nemaia), family, and friends.

Dr. Victor Salazar, Medical Director
Dr. Salazar graduated from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala. During his medical training, he earned a scholarship for a clinical rotation in Madrid, Spain. After graduation, he moved to the U.S., and he was accepted as a UCLA scholar of the UCLA International Medical Graduate Program. While in Bakersfield, Dr. Salazar trained at Kern Medical Center in the Department of Family Medicine.  During his residency, he was able to provide quality of care to underserved and underinsured populations of Kern County. Dr. Salazar is an advocate for educating patients and positively impacting the medically underserved communities. He is interested in being a role model to those who live in California's underserved and in making a significant contribution to the health and welfare of these communities. When he is not engaged in his professional activities, he spends time playing and watching soccer, dancing salsa, and sharing valued time with his family.
Anupriya Anadure, Quality Assurance Director
  Dr. Anadure is an experienced medical professional with more than 11 years’ experience in the healthcare industry in the Bay area. She is currently serving the Foothill clinics as their Quality Assurance Director. Dr. Anadure completed her medical training at MR Medical College in Gulbarga, Karnataka and residency at KC General Hospital, Bangalore India. After successfully running her own private clinic in India she moved to the US in 2001 to pursue her MBA in Health care management at the University of Findlay, OH.  She since moved to the Bay area Jan 2005 to join her family members and has been successfully managing several health care businesses here. She is an approved member of American College of Healthcare executives (ACHE) since 2006. She possesses strong leadership skills with commitment to implement quality improvement techniques that drive business operations to success.
Growing-up in India exposed me to the challenges people have for good oral hygiene versus much higher everyday life priorities. I knew then that I had to do much more to ensure affordable, stress free and timely dental care to all, especially to those who cannot afford it - I became a working dentist in India. It is my singular passion to provide the very best dental care to every patient that walks through my door and my colleagues say that I have. Since earning a Doctor of Dental Sciences degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 2004, I have spent my career working for non-profit organizations that provide low-cost dental services to low-income, under-insured and uninsured members of my community.

Youth today have questions about dating, sex, pregnancy, grades, being gay, domestic violence, family trauma, bullying, and about their lives.  In East San Jose, the target area of Foothill Community Health Center, there are inequities in the behavioral health services available to low-income families. Every child and adult deserves respect through high-quality behavioral health services, not limiting service only to those who can afford to pay. Every child deserves to feel love and given takeaways that will put them on a positive path in life. The delight of my day is being with my one-year old daughter Hanna. She laughs, speaks, crawls, and makes me smile.

Technology is a key factor in achieving success in this competitive age. As a city boy, I had the chance to witness the amazing transition of my hometown into a global city. This opened my eyes to the potential of technology and its crucial role in improving our quality of life. Over the years, however, I learned that this fast-paced revolution can create pressing social issues. Those marginalized fail to benefit from advances in technology, resulting in financial hardship for many. Therefore, I decided to use my engineering experience and knowledge to empower my community. I am very proud to be a part of Foothill Community Health Center and its mission to provide high-quality, affordable healthcare to our community. With a Master’s degree in computer engineering and more than 30-years of experience in industrial technology development, I truly believe that Foothill Community Health Center can improve quality of life for those in our community.
On a Mission to Help Others
The people who guide Foothill Community Center on its community based mission to protect lives are diverse in background, yet unified in purpose to ensure that all Foothill patients receive a consistently high level of service and help.  All board members of Foothill Community Center are volunteers.   Whether from the emergency medical field, the business world, or the non profit arena, each embodies a total commitment to excellence, which is reflected in their actions on behalf of Foothill Community Center.
