Living Positively
Ease Up Joints
Just take 10 extra pounds add 40 pounds of pressure on your knees and other lower body joints.   That can wear them out quicker.   Extra fat can also cause inflammation  ---- when chemicals in your body damage your own tissues over time, including your joints.

Healthy Living in San Jose. Living healthy and strong

Losing weight lowers blood pressure and cholesterol and increases a person's lifespan. Eating plenty of fruits  and vegetables is important for living a healthy lifestyle. Low or non-fat dairy products should be used instead of fatty dairy products, and low-calorie foods should be substituted whenever possible.

Let's Talk About Healthy Living

A healthy lifestyle is important because it helps people to feel and look good, reduces the risk of disease, improves the effects of aging, and decreases the chance of becoming overweight. Exercising, eating well, losing weight and quitting smoking are keys to living a healthy lifestyle.

A lack of exercise is the main cause of weight gain. Exercising regularly decreases the chances of having a stroke or getting heart disease or diabetes. People who exercise tend to be more flexible as they age, and staying active also helps to maintain bone mass.
